Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse is on the radar of Premier League heavyweights. Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are highly linked with the 25-year-old Russian league hotshot, according to reports.
The Guardian has claimed scouts from the three clubs have kept their eyes on the Senegal international throughout the first half of the season, and feel Niasse can be the perfect fit in the centre-forward role.
It is reported that even German side Bayer Leverkusen and French side Monaco had launched a bid for the player, only to see them rejected by the club.
The player has scored 13 times and clocked 10 assists from 23 appearances in all competitions for the Russian club this season. His performances also earned him the Russian Premier League's player of the year 2015.
Niasse joined Lokomotiv at the start of the 2014-15 season, and played a key role in guiding the club to winning the Russian Cup title that season.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that the highly-rated striker could be more inclined to move to Manchester, as his wife is based out of there. His current contract with Lokomotiv runs until the summer of 2017.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are in need of strikers at the moment. While Louis van Gaal has very few options upfront apart from Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial, the Blues only have Diego Costa and Loic Remy as of now as classical centre forwards.
Chelsea also have Radamel Falcao in their squad, but the Colombian is currently sidelined with a long term injury.
