English Premier League (EPL) 2016-17 has got off to a flying start and in the previous nine weeks, we have seen plenty of exciting football action. The mighty Manchester United, boasting big names like Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, have consistently failed to make a mark this season, while the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal fight out the battle for supremacy between themselves.
Also, we are remaining witness to the ongoing slump of champions Leicester City.
Gameweek 10 sees the title front runners battle it out once again for a steady progress in the EPL 2016-17 points table. Table toppers Manchester City have a relatively easy fixture this time around, while United, Arsenal and Liverpool too take on not-so-big opponents in the weekend. A win is expected from the heavyweights, but as we know, in football, never underestimate the underdogs.
The gameweek does not boast of a very huge fixture this time around, but one match that definitely cannot be missed is the one between Tottenham Hotspur and defending English league champions Leicester City. Two of the best strikers in England at the moment, Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy, are pitted against each other.
Leicester are currently 12th in the league table and a win can do a lot to boost their confidence with 28 more gameweeks to play. They have just managed to get three wins from nine games and that gives a major worry to Claudio Ranieri. Can they defend the title? From what it looks, it is a bit too difficult.
Meanwhile, another big game in the Premier League this weekend sees Southampton and Chelsea fight it out for a more supreme grip in the top half of the table.
