There seems to be a surprise in store for the fans of Rajinikanth. Well, director Shankar, who is known for coming up with grand and colourful tracks in his films, has reportedly decided to have only one track in his forthcoming mega-budget film Enthiran 2 aka 2.0.
"There is only one song in the film and the makers have already shot it. However, the album will feature five or six songs," the Indo-Asian News Service quoted a source as saying. It is said to be a duet song, which is shot on the lead stars.
The makers have shot the song in beautiful locales of Ukraine on Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson. The song has come out well and the makers are hoping that the track will impress the viewers. It has to be noted that two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman has scored the music.
Earlier this month, director Shankar had revealed that more than half of the shooting had been completed in 150 days. After completing the latest schedule, Amy Jackson recently tweeted, "Rise and Grind! Last day on set for this schedule with @shankarshanmugh and then back to Mumbai [sic]."
Following the completion of the shooting, the unit of the film will head for an extensive post-production schedule. The VFX part is expected to consume a lot of time.
Meanwhile, the makers have announced that the first look poster of the movie will be launched on November 20. A grand event is being planned in Mumbai.
2.0 will also be dubbed in Hindi and Telugu languages. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar plays the role of the antagonist in the flick, which has Amy Jackson in the female lead. Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain and others are in the supporting cast.
Lyca Productions is bankrolling 2.0 with an estimated budget of Rs 350 crore, which makes it the highest budget for an Indian film.
