Young Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas, who rose to fame with his turn as Perumparambil Appu in Prithviraj Sukumaran's blockbuster movie "Ennu Ninte Moideen", was blessed with a baby on 11 January. Tovino's wife Lidiya gave birth to a baby girl on Monday.
The actor revealed the happy news to his fans through his Facebook page, calling it the greatest day of his life. "The greatest day yet, as I became the proud father of a baby girl :) Mother and baby are both fine. So now let me spend time with 'Baby of Lidiya & Tovino' :), (sic)" he posted on Facebook.
After being in a relationship for quite a long time, the couple got married at St Thomas Cathedral in Irinjalakuda on 25 October, 2014. Tovino, who has a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Tamil Nadu College of Engineering in Coimbatore, had worked as a software engineer before entering the entertainment industry.
He made his acting debut with Sajeev Anthikkad's 2012 movie "Prabhuvinte Makkal" after appearing in many ad films. He got his big break with Martin Prakkat's 2013 movie "ABCD", in which he played the antagonist, Akhilesh Verma. He also acted in "You too Brutus" and Mohanlal-starrer "Koothara".
