Football fans have labelled tonights (17 November) England v France friendly at Wembley Stadium historic, just days after over 120 people died in a terror attack in Paris. The game was in doubt after the attacks, but the French Football Federation (FFF) said the game should go ahead.

Tributes will be paid to the victims before and during the match.

One France fan outside the ground said: It means a lot to French fans, and all French people. We are very shocked by what happened on Friday and we are here to say that we are not afraid and that life should go on. We are here for the victims, and to say that we continue.

Wembley Stadium has been adorned with the famous French saying Liberté, égalité, fraternité, and it is reported that England fans plan to sing the French national anthem.

The famous arch will also be lit up in the colours of the French tricolour. Increased security will be in place around the ground, with fans warned to get there early due to a 100% search policy.
