Neil Nitin Mukesh, who had made his successful debut in Tamil with blockbuster "Kaththi", seems to have bagged a biggie again. The Bollywood actor has been approached to play a key role in the forthcoming sequel to Rajinikanth's "Endhiran" (Enthiran).
Rumours are rife that Neil Nitin Mukesh has been offered the role of a baddie in "Endhiran 2". Shankar and the Bollywood actor talked recently and Mukesh has shown interest in the project.
The opinion in some quarters is it is a smart decision to cast a face who is popular in Bollywood as well as Kollywood. Neil Nitin Mukesh's performance in "Kaththi" had won the hearts of the Tamil audience, and his presence in the film would turn out to be a good choice, say people on social media.
Amy Jackson turns robot
Amy Jackson is all set to play a robot in "Endhiran 2". It was earlier reported that she would be playing Rajinikanth's love interest, but now the buzz says she is going to play the negative character of a robot.
It is worth recalling that she had earlier shared a photo on Twitter in which she was seen alongside robots. Amy Jackson had taken the snaps in the US.
Meanwhile, the plans of the launch of "Endhiran 2" have been postponed following the unprecedented floods in Chennai. It was supposed to coincide with Rajinikanth's birthday on 12 December. The new date of the muhurat is yet to be announced.
The regular shooting of "Endhiran 2" will commence in mid-2016. It is a mega-budget project bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Reportedly, the film is being made for Rs 250-300 crore simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
