The pre-release buzz for "Enakku Innoru Per Irukku" was not great but the good reviews has helped the movie to draw the attention of the audience. It is the comedy content in the movie that has won the hearts of the audience.
The movie tells the story of a timid man, Johnny (GV Prakash), who falls in love with Naina (Saravanan), the daughter of a don. The gangster is in search for a successor in the form of his son-in-law. Situations help the hero to get hitched to the don's daughter but the challenge before him is to display courage in fighting the enemies of his father-in-law, which is the best part of the story.
The spoof of various movies and the comedy elements have turned out to be the plus points of "Enakku Innoru Per Irukku." GV Prakash's suitable performance with the good support from the other cast keep the audience entertained throughout the film. Here, we bring you critics review of the flick:
The Hindu Review: We're in a comedy, and yet we get the intense scene of a man hacked to death. At least this man we knew about. He was there in a couple of early scenes, though he vanishes for a long stretch and reappears only to die.
Sify Review: What really works in favour of EIPI is the packaging and entertaining characters, who often utter spoof dialogues from all the recent hit films including Theri, Vedalam and Baahubali. Especially the Kiliki language used by Karunas, Naan Kadavul Rajendran as 'Mahabali' Maha and Yogi Babu's regular Thala - Thalapathy references are sure to bring the roof down.
IndiaGlitz Review: Instead of springing twists and turns, the director rather capitalizes on slapstick comedy, through the film GV is seen in a familiar role as the guy who has a hard time with his girl.
