After "Azhar," Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has wrapped up the shooting of Vikram Bhatt's horror flick "Raaz 4." After three successful instalments, the actor is set to bring another scary story, in which he plays a vampire's character.
"The shooting of Raaz 4 is complete and we are looking for a September release. I am looking forward to it, but I can't talk much about it now," Emraan told Catch News. The actor also added that the makers have not used much of VFX as it sometimes backfires in horror movies, which make them look fake.
"In 'Raaz 4,' we have not used much of VFX as it does not evoke fear among the audiences. We have tried to keep the things real and that is when horror is more immersive. VFX at times look fake. We have tried to keep things real and I don't know if we would succeed in that or no as the same would be decided by the audiences," he added.
Except for the first part, Emraan has been featured in "Raaz 2" and "Raaz 3," which had impressed fans a lot. Meanwhile, he is also in talks for the fourth instalment of "Murder." He will soon appear with his latest flick "Azhar," which is set to be released on May 13.
"Azhar" is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin and it features Emraan, Nargis Fakhri, Prachi Desai and Gautam Gulati in pivotal roles. Nargis recently revealed that she didn't like her kissing scenes with Emraan in the film.
"I was not aware these many kissing scenes will be there. I was like I will charge extra as this is ridiculous, as there were retakes and reshoots, so I was like is this a joke," Nargis told Press Trust of India.
