Sunday evening is going to be a memorable one as the 68th annual Emmy Awards, which honours television shows and actors that made a mark this past year, will take place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
The show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air live on 18 September on ABC. The red carpet coverage will begin at 7pm ET and it will be followed by the award show at 8pm. Those who want to catch the event online can do so on abc.com or on its app.
Viewers in India too can watch the award show live across Star English Entertainment Network's channels such as Star World, Star World Premiere HD, Star World HD, FX and FX HD on Monday, 19 September at 4:30am.
Facebook will also be broadcasting Emmys highlights via 360-degree video where viewers can watch Kimmel's opening monologue and some of the backstage action. The social networking forum's live steaming service, Facebook Live, will also feature a "thank-you cam" that will focus on the night's winners. The award night will also feature an In Memoriam segment to pay tribute to Garry Marshall. This segment will be introduced by Henry Winkler Tori Kelly will perform during the event.
This year's awards presenters include Anthony Anderson,Aziz Ansari, Kristen Bell, Julie Bowen, Priyanka Chopra, James Corden, Larry David, Taraji P. Henson, Randall Park, Andy Samberg, Liev Schreiber and Michael Weatherly.
