Emmy Awards 2015 kicked-off at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, 20 September, at 8pm (EST) and two of the popular HBO series, "Veep" and "Game of Thrones", bagged four awards each.
Both the series were announced the winners in best series, supporting actors and outstanding writing categories in comedy and drama series, respectively. While the political drama also managed to receive lead actress award, the fantasy series showed its excellence in directing.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey Tambor won the lead actor award in Comedy Series and Julia Louis-Dreyfus was declared as the winner in lead actress category. For drama series, Jon Hamm and Viola Davis received best actor and actress awards.
The annual event was hosted by "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Andy Samberg along with Taraji P Henson, Terrence Howard, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gina Rodriguez, Anthony Anderson, Jimmy Kimmel and Amy Poehler among others.
