Michael Jacksons personal physician Dr Conrad Murray, 63, has claimed that the King of Pop wanted to marry Harry Potter star Emma Watson when she was just 11 years old. Murray was sentenced to four years in jail for involuntary manslaughter two years after the singers death from an overdose. He was released after he spending two years in prison.
According to The Mirror, in a book titled This Is It Murray claims the singer said he wanted to marry Watson, when she was 11 years old, around the time she first came to the worlds notice in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. However, that was only if Jacksons first choice in marriage denied him, as Jackson also wanted to tie the knot with the 12-year-old daughter of his close friend Mark Lester.
Michael fell in love with Harriet when she was roughly five years old, Murray has claimed in the book. Then, by age 12, he grew to become fixated on her. He wanted me to go with him to visit her father and to discuss plans for Âmatrimony while in London, during the This Is It concerts. He told me Harriets father was Mark Lester, his very close friend.
I was concerned that Harriet was legally far too young for marriage in most of the world, Murray wrote.
When I asked Michael how old she was, he said he was not sure, but thought she could be about 12 years old… It would be something to carefully scour for the legality of marriage to a minor. I was sure it was statutory rape in America and England. He said he planned to have someone review the legality and ramifications of marrying someone as young as Harriet when he arrived in London.
He wanted me to visit Harriets father with him so he could discuss the Âramifications of marrying someone that young in the Western world, the doctor-tuned-writer said.
Jackson died in 2009 of a prescription drug overdose at age 50.
