Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have supposedly gone their separate ways, if rumours swirling around are to be believed.
But the "The Amazing Spider-Man" actress has gushed about her beau in the May issue of Interview magazine, sparking doubts that reports of tension between the two could have been just rumours.
When Diane Keaton, who interviewed the actress for the mag, read an adorable quote Garfield said about his girlfriend of three years, the 26-year old actress said her boyfriend was a regular Wordsworth.
"He is such a poet," Stone said, according to OK!Magazine. "But that's the way he writes in general. So I hear it and of course my heart swells up. And I also know that he writes things like that on a daily basis."
"What a guy. But that's beautiful," Keaton said. "What a guy. He is a real Wordsworth," Stone responded.
Reports of a tension between the two gained momentum in early April, and reportedly, their hectic work schedules came in the way of a relationship. Several other reports also indicated that Garfield, who is currently in Taiwan shooting a movie, was unfaithful to his girlfriend of three years.
Reportedly, Stone called him out when she noticed him acting distant. "She was horrified," a source told OK! magazine. She "basically called him out on his behavior and demanded to know exactly what was going on."
"He felt truly terrible about it," the source said. "He says that he met a girl in a bar, and that he would never dream of doing anything like that ever again." Although Garfield thought Stone would forgive him, she couldn't get over the fact that he would cheat on her, the report noted.
The two actors are yet to address these rumours, but a few days back Stone was spotted carrying a bag with Garfield's name written on it. She has also been spotted out and about looking happy and relaxed.
