Rumor of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi's divorce is doing the rounds once again, after the Oscar host was reportedly spotten on a date with a mysterious brunette.
Television host Ellen has been married to Australian-American actress Rossi for the last six years. However, there have been several reports since 2013 that the couple's marriage is on shaky grounds.
The marriage hit rock bottom, reports suggest, after Rossi started getting tired of supporting Ellen's career, while having to give up on her acting job.
The news found more authenticity after Rossi was spotted by paparazzi without her wedding ring in public. Ellen while proposing to the actress had given a 3-carat pink diamond ring, which now she has stopped wearing.
Adding fuel to fire, Ellen was spotted alone with a mysterious brunette in public. The incident has set several tongues-wagging. Additionally, reports indicate that Ellen might have wanted to make Rossi jealous. Or is Ellen-Portia relationship really over?
Spotting dark sunglasses, the paparazzi spotted Ellen with a mysterious brunette having lunch at the West Hollywood. "The latest photo op for the paparazzi wasn't an accident, but very purposeful instead. Ellen knew that she and her friend would be photographed together and that Portia would see the pictures. She knows better than to be seen with a new woman alone, unless Ellen wants people to talk," CelebDirtyLaundry reported.

While there is no word on who the mysterious brunette seen with Ellen was, question is if Ellen and Portia's marriage can survive this. Will the couple take up counselling?
However, Ellen recently told the People Magazine: "I love her so much it kills me. The tabloids had a photo of Portia not wearing her wedding ring. It is because it gives her blister while riding horses," she said. Rossi is yet to comment on the these rumours.
