Marvel's original "Avengers" may remember Loki's attempt at taking over the Earth and trying to enslave humanity with his sceptre, but looks like they did not inform the new recruit Scarlet Witch about the dangers of fraternising or dating the Asgardian. Although the Avenger and Thor's younger brother didn't appear together in "Avengers: Age of Ultron", Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston - who play the characters - have reportedly been spending a lot of time together after working together in another movie "I Saw the Light".
According to a source close to Marvel, the duo has been hooking up ever since they started filming for the biopic revolving around the life of country music singer Hank Williams, reports Perez Hilton. Olsen plays Audrey Williams - wife, manager and duet partner to Hiddleston's Hank.
Just thinking about the massive fan following each of the stars have, there are people out there enthusiastically shipping the couple, especially since Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone seem to have called it quits, "Lizzy" and Tom definitely have the potential to be the next "It" couple of Hollywood.
However, it looks like the 26-year-old is not too keen on labelling their relationship just yet. "They have been hooking up. It's casual (but they) text when they're apart". Tom could also just be a rebound for the actress, who broke up with fiancé Boyd Holbrook in January. "She wants to make a new life for herself. She's having fun," the source said, reports Mid-Day.
The English actor was also linked to record producer Jane Arthy until recently. Could the couple take each other's "break-up" sorrow away? Only time will tell. For now, be grateful for whatever force brought the amazing, adorable, talented specimens together.
