Electric car races over ice caps to highlight climate change
A Formula E car raced across the Arctic ice cap in Greenland in order to raise awareness of the impact of climate change in the region. Formula E is a class of motorsport that uses only electric-powered cars, which has been racing for three seasons. One of the aims of Formula E is to promote electricity powered vehicles to try to reduce the impact of carbon emissions on the climate.
