Sunny Leone may not be a big star like Anushka Sharma, but the hot and sexy actress has the star power to perform better than the latter's film. Yes, the former adult star's film has beaten the two-day record of Anushka's recent movie "NH 10".
"Ek Paheli Leela" has made ₹5.20 crore on the second day. The Bollywood movie earned ₹5.3 crore on the first day and now the total business made by the Sunny Leone's film stands at ₹10.5 crore.
Leading trade tracker, Taran Adarsh announced, "#EkPaheliLeela Fri 5.30 cr, Sat 5.20 cr. Total: ₹ 10.50 cr. India biz."
"NH 10" had collected ₹7.85 crore in two days and ended its first weekend by earning ₹13.3 crore. Now, it looks like "Ek Paheli Leela" will beat even the total first weekend business made by the Anushka Sharma-starrer.
This development will be a remarkable feat for Sunny Leone's career as very rarely we see an A-list actress' film being overtaken by a budding star.
Sunny Leone alone is said to be the biggest factor pulling audience to theatres. The trailer and other promotions attracted mass audience big time and this is clearly evident with the film's performance at the box office.
"Ek Paheli Leela" is a musical-thriller, which has Sunny Leone, Rajneesh Duggal, Jayl Bhaushali, Mohit Ahlawat, Rahul Dev, Jas Arora, BJ Andy and others in the cast. It is directed by Bobby Khan and jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan.
The Bollywood movie is made with the budget of ₹15 crore and it will recover the product cost in a week.
