Eid ul-Fitr 2015 is finally here. The day that marks the end of Ramadan month is likely to fall on 17 July in most countries and the next day in some nations like India and Pakistan. Day of celebration may vary from country to country based new moon sighting, but festive spirit is in the air with Muslims around the world already having started preparing for the occasion.
To make Eid celebrations even more special, many Indian film-makers make movies specially for this festive season every year, and this year is no exception. In what could be seen as Eid Mubarak 2015 special, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, is hitting the theatres this Friday. Some big regional and Hollywood movies are also set for release this week.

A few movies like "Baahubali," "Boulevard," "Minions," and "The Gallows" have already hit the theatres and are still going strong at the box office, but a long line of big films will join the fray this week. Here are some Indian and Hollywood films releasing this Eid:
"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is a Bollywood film starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. Directed by Kabir Khan, this romance drama also has actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ali Quli, Deepti Naval and Om Puri in important roles.
"Ant-Man" is an American superhero film featuring Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale and Michael Pena in the lead roles. Directed by Peyton Reed, this movie is based on the Marvel Comics characters by the same name.
"Acha Dhin" is a Malayalam (India) film directed by G Marthandan and featuring superstar Mammootty and Mansi Sharma in the lead roles.
"Maari" is a Tamil (India) action comedy film starring Dhanush and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. It is produced by Listin Stephen and Raadhika Sarathkumar under the banner of Magic Frames, and is directed by Balaji Mohan.
"Madhura Naranga" is a Malayalam film directed by Sugeeth and features Kunchacko Boban, Parvathy Ratheesh and Biju Menon in the lead roles.
"Trainwreck" is an American comedy movie starring Schumer and Bill Hader in the lead roles. Directed by Judd Apatow, it also features Tilda Swinton, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Mike Birbiglia, Vanessa Bayer, John Cena and LeBron James in important roles.
"KL 10 Pathu" is a Malayalam movie starring Unni Mukundan, Chandini Sreedharan, Saiju Kurup, and Aju Varghese in the lead roles. It is directed by debutant Muhsin Parari and produced by Alexander Mathew, Satheesh Mohan and LJ Films.
"Irrational Man" is an American mystery drama starring Jamie Blackley, Joaquin Phoenix, Parker Posey and Emma Stone, and is directed by Woody Allen.
"Love 24X7" is a Malayalam movie directed by Sreebala K Menon. It features Dileep, Nikhila Vimal, and Suhasini in the lead roles.
"Mr Holmes" is a crime drama mystery directed by Bill Condon and features Ian McKellen, Laura Linney and Milo Parker in the lead roles. The film is based on Mitch Cullin's book "A Slight Trick of the Mind."
