Eid Mubarak

Muslim devotees all over the globe celebrate Eid al-Adha on Thursday, 24 September. The second most important Muslim festival after Eid ul-Fitr is observed on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar.

Also known as Bakr Eid, the Greater Eid commemorates the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his only son Ishmael on God's command.

Many south Indian celebs, including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dileep, Dulquer Salmaan and others have wished their fans on Eid through their official social media handles.
