The National Capital Region including Delhi and Gurgaon was shaken by tremors of earthquake on Sunday evening, news agency ANI reported.
The Indian Meteorological Department has put the magnitutde at 3.8 magnitude and no further details of the depth and epicentre of the quake are available. However, independent earthquake tracking agency EMSC said that tremors were also felt in neighboring Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The tremors are said to have lasted only for a few seconds and no loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far. Worried people took to social media to share the news about the quake. More details are awaited.
