Publisher EA announced the free trial of "EA Sports UFC 2," the mixed martial arts fighting video game for PS4 and Xbox One users, in celebration of UFC 202, an upcoming real-life mixed martial arts event.
UFC 202 will see Nate Diaz take on Conor McGregor. It is scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Aug. 21.
This free trial mode will only be available this weekend (Aug. 18 to Aug. 22). Players will be able to experience about five hours of full game, so there is time limit on the trial. This trial will be featuring new modes like Knockout Mode, UFC Ultimate Team and Live Events, which will be featuring UFC 202 fight card. As noted earlier, the trail is available only on PS4 and Xbox One, since the game was released only on these two platforms.
"EA Sports UFC 2" recently received a content update #6 (patch 1.09) that brought four new fighters Abel Trujillo (Men's Lightweight), Evan Dunham (Men's Lightweight), Rashid Magomedov (Men's Lightweight) and Sean O'Connell (Men's Light Heavyweight). It also added MMA fighter Donald Cerrone. The update had also contained changes to gameplay and menu. Several fixes were also introduces as part of the update.

"EA Sports UFC 2" has over 250 fighters from the real-world UFC. It was released on March 15, 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One.
