Nintendo Digital Event
Nintendo Digital Event will begin on 10 June..e3.nintendo.com

Just like last year, Nintendo will hold its E3 press conference seperately through it's special 'Digital Event', which will be broadcast online. However, Nintendo will have a strong presence at the floor of the event at the LA Convention Center.

Nintendo will announce new titles on its Digital Event, and will have in-depth demoes for its various titles on Nintendo TreeHouse.

What games to expect and rumors:

Super Smash Bros - Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS will possibly be the big game at this E3. It was previously suggested that the 3DS version will roll out in summer and Wii U one in the winter. We have to see what new content Nintendo has to offer.

Zelda - It is likely that there might be a teaser trailer for the game.

The company might also reveal release dates of Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. More information might be revealed on Xenoblade Chronicles and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. There have been suggestions that Nintendo might reveal more on Delta Emerald, Pokken Fighters, Metroid Prime and Fatal Frame.

A leaked image has suggested that Nintendo will announce Mario Maker at E3 2014. This will allow users to create their own 8-bit era Mario levels with the help of a stylus. There is no clarity as to what platform this game is developed on.

It has been confirmed that there will not be any new hardware reveals by Nintendo at E3.

"We wish to achieve an integrated hardware-software platform business that, instead of providing mobile or wearable features, will be characterized by a new area of what we like to call 'non-wearable' technology," said Nintendo.

However, Satoru Iwata, CEO at Nintendo, has said that the company would reveal a new system before the end of the current fiscal year, CVG reported.

Time: Tuesday 10 June 9:00 am PT.

  • Wednesday, 11 June 9:15 am to 6 pm PT
