As expected, Wanya Morris and Antonio Brown got eliminated on Monday's episode of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." The next episode, which is the Season 22 finale, will see Nyle DiMarco, Ginger Zee and Paige VanZant competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy.
All these three contestants are competent enough to win the coveted prize, but DiMarco seems to have an advantage, according to various polls. DiMarco, a deaf model, has been consistent in his performances and he has always remained in the first three positions on judges' leaderboard. He also seems to be a fan favourite, with many taking to Twitter to voice their disappointment during DiMarco's scoring controversy.
After performing without music in the previous episode, DiMarco won over both the judges and fans by performing blindfolded. "I'm going to be blindfolded, which means that I'm going to be getting rid of another sense, which just leaves me with three senses," DiMarco said in his People Vlog. "It's definitely going to be difficult but Peta and I have worked so hard to make sure it will be perfect."
He also had a surprise in store for some deaf audience members who were in attendance at Monday's live show. According to reports, their chairs were equipped with SubPacs, devices that will allow them to feel sound across their body. "I wonder how they are going to react," said DiMarco before the show. "I tried it myself, and I liked it. I think some deaf people are going to like it."
