The cast of the 20th season of "Dancing with the Stars" will officially be announced on Tuesday on Good Morning America on ABC. But rumours are plenty on who all are in talks with the producers to take part in the dancing reality show.
And this time too, the contestants are an eclectic mix featuring personalities from the sporting field as well as the entertainment industry.
For instance, one such contestant who is rumoured to be making his way to the dance floor is "The Bachelor" star Chris Soules, better known as "Prince Farming" from Iowa. The celebrity farmer is said to be in talks to appear on the show along with comedienne Roseanne Barr, Patriots player Malcolm Butler and radio host/activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Talks of Soules starring in the dancing competition started gaining traction shortly after he admitted that he was game to showcase his dancing skills.
"At this point, why not?" Soules said when asked about competing on DWTS Season 20, according to E!Online. "I went through The Bachelorette and never thought I'd do that and did it and it was a great experience. Now being the Bachelor, it's been an extraordinary experience. I'm open to a lot of opportunities, I'd be willing to consider these sort of things. But I'm going to do what's best for me and do what's right and what I feel is right for my future."
Barr, too, had earlier mentioned about taking part in the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" when she tweeted: "i am thinking about being on dancing with the stars -bc im a great dancer and i am getting old-who knows how long I can still do a backbend?"
While fans have to wait for a few more days to know the entire lineup of the new season, it has been confirmed that a number of professional dancers, such as Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke and Karina Smirnoff, will not be returning for yet another season.
"DWTS" 2015 premieres on 16 March.
