Manchester United fans in India finally got to meet two former United players — Dwight Yorke and Quinton Fortune — in Bangalore on Sunday.
The two legends are a part of the "I Love United India" campaign and are here to take the number of fans to a new height. Manchester United are on of the most loved clubs in India, and their fan following is immense. The club has also realised in recent times football is becoming an increasingly popular sport — not that it was not already popular — in India, and they should help this cause.
In this tour of India, Yorke and Fortune met and greeted fans and overwhelmed them by signing their Manchester United goodies. They will now be a part of a massive screening of the English Premier League (EPL) match between Liverpool and Manchester United.
Yorke and Fortune will cheer with the fans atthe screening at the UB City's Ampitheatre in Bangalore.
A social media team of Manchester United has also come down to India and interviewed a few members of the Manchester United official supporters club on Saturday. United had posted a small clip of this in their Vine as well.
The Red Devils have already defeated the Reds from the Merseyside. Liverpool had lost against United on the last three occasion, and on Sunday, Louis Van Gaal's Red Army travel to Anfield.
