Malayalam actor Dulquer Salman begins shooting for his upcoming movie which is titled "Njaan." The movie is directed by Ranjith and is based on a novel by TP Rajeevan, named as "K P N Kottoor: Ezhuthum Jeevithavum."
Dulquer seems excited about this project. "Began shooting for my new film "Njaan" directed by ace director and my very own Renjiettan. It's going to be a life changing experience," Dulquer posted on his official Facebook page.
The 27-year-old actor who has more than 1.6 million fans on his Facebook page even posted a picture from the sets of "Njaan." He will be seen in a new avatar in the movie, according to The Times of India. The movie will feature three heroines and all of them are said to play important roles. The three leading ladies for the film will be played by Anu Mol, Jyothi Krisha and debut actress Shruti.
The filming of the movie will take place in Calicut and Kananghad. "Njaan" will be set in the 1970s and will portray India's freedom struggle in the plot. It is said that Dulquer will play the role of journalist in the movie, according to Oneindia.com.
Dulquer, who is the son of the famous Malayalam star Mammootty, has been doing very well in the film industry. The actor who entered Mollywood in 2012 has been appreciated for his performances by audiences as well as critics.
The 7-film-old actor has a few other films lined up for release. He recently completed the shooting of his forthcoming movie "Bangalore Days," by Anjali Menon who has cast him in her previous film "Ustad Hotel" which did well at the box office.
Dulquer is also looking forward to the release of "Vaayai Moodi Pesavum," a Tamil flick which will be simultaneously released in Malayalam as "Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram." This romantic comedy entertainer which also stars Nazriya Nazim will be out in theatres shortly.
