Dulquer Salmaan, the young hunk of Mollywood, is now a known figure in Kollywood, Bollywood and Tollywood too; all credit goes to his scintillating performance in movies like 'Vaayai Moodi Pesavum', 'Karwaan' and 'Mahanati'. The recent news about the star kid is regarding his new Tamil movie which started rolling recently.
The film titled 'Vaan' was launched on Wednesday, and Dulquer himself announced the news on his official social networking handle. The actor revealed that 'Vaan' will be a travel movie, and added that he is so thrilled to be a part of this project.
The film directed by RA Karthick will feature Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of legendary filmmaker Priyadarshan in the role of female lead. It should be noted that Kalyani had made her debut in the entertainment industry as an actress in 2017 with the Telugu movie 'Hello'. For her spectacular performance in 'Hello', Kalyani even won the Filmfare Award for the Best Female Debut-South.
Apart from 'Vaan', Kalyani will also do crucial roles in movies like 'Arabikkadalinte Simham' which stars Mohanlal in the lead and another project with Pranav Mohanlal.
George C Williams is handling the cinematography for 'Vaan', while Sreekar Prasad is in charge of editing. The music of this upcoming film will be handled by Dheena Dayal.
On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan is now awaiting the release of his new Tamil movie 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' which is being directed by Desingh Periyasamy. The film which has Ritu Varma playing the female lead also has Rakshan and Niranjani Ahathian in other prominent roles.
The post-production works of 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' is now progressing steadily, and the makers are expected to announce the release date soon.
Another movie which Dulquer signed recently is 'Oru Yamandan Premakadha' which will be directed by BC Noufal.
