The Kerala State Award winning actor Dulquer Salmaan, who recently wrapped up the shooting of Rajeev Ravi's "Kammatipaadam," will join the sets of Amal Neerad's upcoming untiled movie in April.
Recently, rumours had it that Dulquer will be seen playing the role of a dancer in the Amal Neerad movie, which will be the first of its kind of the filmmaker as the "Big B" director is known for his slow-pace movies. However, a source close to the actor has confirmed to International Business Times, India, that it is a fake news.
The source clarified that Dulquer will be seen playing the role of a person based in Kottayam. The upcoming movie will go on the floors next month in Kottayam and later in the U.S.
Dulquer, who is basking in the success of the Martin Prakkat directorial "Charlie," is awaiting the release of his upcoming family entertainer "Kali." It is one of the most-anticipated Malayalam movies of the year as it marks the comeback of director Sameer Thahir and Dulquer after their 2013 road movie "Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi," which was well accepted by the audience.

The audience is also eagerly waiting to see "Premam" fame Sai Pallavi aka Malar miss back on the big screen soon and she will be seen opposite Dulquer in "Kali." The couple (Siddharth and Anjali) meet during their college days, fall in love and get married. The "Charlie" actor will be seen as a customer relations officer named Siddharth, who works in a new-generation bank.
Apart from "Kali," "Kammatipaadan" and an untitled Amal Neerad flick, Dulquer also has Prathap Pothen, Sathyan Anthikkad, Ashiq Abu and Anoop Sathyan's directorial ventures in his kitty for later this year.
