Mollywood young star Dulquer Salmaan, who was last seen in a cameo role in "Ann Maria Kalippilaanu" will be associating with actor Salaam Bukhari in his debut directorial venture.
A source close to the actor has announced the upcoming project that will be bankrolled by Anto Joseph under his home production banner. The movie is expected to go on floors in January or February 2017 after Dulquer wraps up other committed projects. Salaam is known for his roles in the movies "North 24 Kaatham"and "Sapthama Sree Thaskaraha."
Dulquer is currently busy with the filming of upcoming Sathyan Anthikad directorial in Thrissur. The movie, which went on floors on Aug. 29, marks the first association of the young star with the veteran hitmaker, who is known for his family entertainers in Malayalam. Dulquer had shared his excitement on joining the team of the movie-maker, whose films were a significant part of the actor's childhood days. In the yet-to-be titled project, Mukesh plays the role of a businessman Vincent belonging to an affluent family and father of Dulquer's character Jomon. The "Kammatipaadam" actor will be seen opposite "Premam"-fame Anupama Parameshwaran and photos of the actors playing badminton from the shooting location of the upcoming project have already started doing the rounds on social media, revealing their looks in the untitled movie.
Meanwhile, after completing the shooting of Sathyan movie, Dulquer will resume the second schedule shooting of Amal Neerad's upcoming movie in the U.S. The family entertainer stars Karthika Muraleedharan, the daughter of cinematographer Muraleedharan CK, opposite Dulquer.
