After wrapping up Martin Prakkat's "Charlie", actor Dulquer Salmaan has commenced the shooting for Rajeev Ravi's untitled film in Mumbai on Friday, 25 September.
Dulquer, who is fondly referred to as DQ by his fans, took to his Facebook page on Friday to express his excitement about the film.
"Today we started Rajeevettan's (Rajeev Ravi) untitled next ! It's an extremely interesting genre and a very ambitious film," he posted on Facebook.
"I'm dying to share so many things about the film and my character with you but I'm controlling myself ! Just so you all enjoy the final product better. So lots of love to all you film lovers. We need your love and blessings," he added.
The yet-to-be-titled film is Rajeev's first directorial project to be shot outside Kerala. His debut film "Annayum Rasoolum" (2013) was shot in Kochi, while his last film "Njan Steve Lopez" (2014) was shot in Thiruvananthapuram.
The screenplay of the film is penned by P Balachandran, who had scripted film like "Ivan Megharoopan", "Thacholi Varghese Chekavar", "Pavithram", "Ulladakkam" and "Uncle Bun".
Recently, he wrapped up the shooting of Martin Prakkat's film "Charlie", which has Parvathy Menon in the female lead role. DQ has back-to-back projects till 2016. Apart from "Charlie" and Rajeev's next, he also has Sameer Tahir's romantic action thriller and Mani Ratnam's Tamil movie in his kitty.
His previous films, "100 Days of Love" and "OK Kanmani", both of which had Nithya Menen as female lead, were a huge success at the box office.
