Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming Malayalam movie with Sathyan Anthikad started rolling in Thrissur on Monday, Aug. 29.
Dulquer will be paired opposite "Premam"-fame actress Anupama Parameshwaran in the yet to be titled movie and the photos of them playing badminton from the shooting location have already started doing the rounds on social media.
Upon joining the team of hitmaker Sathyan for the first time, Dulquer had shared his excitement and said that his long cherished dreams have come true. "I grew up watching Sathyan (Anthikad) Sirs films. I loved them dearly and they were a huge part of my sister's and my childhood. So many of Sathyan sirs films were so real that many of those characters are still alive in all of us. If life is an endless quest for knowledge and learning, I'm blessed to be taught by one more Master. Started my new film with none other than The Sathyan Anthikad. Thank you for this opportunity sir. Thanks to the almighty. And thanks to you, the audience, for being the reason I get these chances [sic]," the"Kammatipaadam" actor posted on his Facebook page.
In the upcoming movie, Dulquer will be seen as Jomon, a native of Thrissur belonging to an affluent business family and Mukesh will share screenspace with the young star for the first time as his father Vincent in it. The untitled movie also stars Vinu Mohan and Muthumani as siblings of Dulquer's character. Scripted by Dr Iqbal Kuttippuram, the film features music composed by Vidya Sagar and lyrics penned by Rafeeq Ahamed.
