After wrapping up the shooting of Rajeev Ravi's upcoming movie "Kammatipaadam," Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan has joined the team of Amal Neerad's next. The untitled flick went on floors in Pala, Kottayam on Friday, April 22. The second schedule of the film will be later shot in the U.S.
In the upcoming movie, touted as a comedy romantic entertainer, Dulquer will be seen as a native of Kottayam for the first time. Anu Emmanuel of "Action Hero Biju"-fame will be seen opposite the actor in the movie, which has been scripted by Shibin Francis. The details of the other cast and crew members of the film have been kept under wraps for now.
Earlier, rumours had it that the "Charlie" actor plays the role of a dancer in the Amal movie. However, a source close to the actor confirmed to International Business Times India that the news is fake. Apart from "Kammatipaadam," Dulquer also has the directorial ventures of Prathap Pothen ("Love In Anjengo), Sathyan Anthikkad, Ashiq Abu and Anoop Sathyan lined up for the year.
