A police officer was thrashed by an angry mob in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr after his car rammed into two motorcycles.
The mob alleged that the cop was in an inebriated state following which they attacked him. A video has also surfaced on the internet that has prompted the authorities to order a probe against the police officer.
In the video, a man can be seen beating the cop with his own belt while others are seen taping the incident on camera. The policeman is too drunk to even fight his way back from the angry mob.
In a similar incident in Bulandshahr, a bunch of angry kanwariyas vandalised a police vehicle. The incident comes a day after they vandalised a car in West Delhi's Moti Nagar. A video had also gone viral that has raised questions about the hooliganism by kanwariyas during their yatra.
They can be seen smashing a police SUV while the cops became mere spectators. The kanwariyas who are on their Kanwar Yatra right now across the northern parts of the country have been widely condemned for their actions.
