Drone video released on 14 December showed the progress of repairs to the Forth Road Bridge in Scotland. The bridge has been closed to traffic since 4 December after a crack was discovered in one of the structures below it.
The video features workers hanging from large sections of the bridge, making repairs on supports and checking the structure . A representative from Amey, the company that is repairing the bridge, said that a final plan has been designed for the repairs and multiple teams have been working 24/7 to fix the fault since the crack was discovered.
Amey also said that, weather permitting, the repairs on the bridge should be completed in the New Year. The bridge connects Edinburgh at Queensferry to Fife at North Queensferry.
