"Dragon Ball Super," the popular anime TV show from Toei Animation, had not aired Episode 35 the previous week as it was on a week-break. However, it was aired March 20, as promised, on Japanese Fuji TV.
The current theme of the anime show is the Champa saga, where the team of Champa and that of Beerus have squared off in the multiverse tournament, dubbed Universe 6 vs. Universe 7.
Episode 34 had shown how Frost was deceiving everyone into losing, courtesy his poison prick that was later found out by the referees, leading to his disqualification. Piccolo was declared the winner.
But, Vegeta wanted to face Frost to settle scores as he had tricking Goku to win.
Episode 35 titled "Turn Anger Into Power! Vegeta's All-Out Battle" showcased how Vegeta fights Frost, Attack of the Fanboy said in its review. As soon as the match began, Vegeta did not waste time and powered up immediately to Super Saiyan and burst out with full power pushing him outside the ring, thus defeating him.
Next, we see Beerus arguing to bring back Goku as he was defeated due to Frost's deception, but Goku wants to go last and Beerus wants him to go immediately before Monaka, an argument ensues between the two.
Meanwhile, Whis is seen asking Beerus if Monaka will reveal his true identity. This means that Monaka might have had a different past than the rest of the players.
We also see Vegeta bragging about not using his full power yet, but still retaining the ability to defeat Frost.
This episode also brings change in the ring-outs rule, previously, any fighter who went out of the floor's boundary was on the losing side, and after an argument between Beerus and Champa, it was decided that the fighter should hit the barrier that is outside the ring in order to be handed out a defeat.
The report also points out to a scene that shows Frost indulging in something fishy. He is seen going to the winning prize and getting tempted to steal it, but is scared of Champa. Meanwhile, Hit from Universe 6 sees Frost's adventures and puts an end to it by knocking him out cold.
So, it was finally decided that the next match is between Magetta and Vegeta. Magetta, who has a metallic body, throws punches at Vegeta, which the latter manages to dodge. Vegeta hits him on the head making a ringing noise. But Vegeta's kicks have no effect on Magetta.
Magetta's pace increases as the match progresses and he starts using lava to attack Vegeta. The lava catches up Vegeta making him want to transform into a Super Saiyan. This concludes Episode 35 and the fight will be continued next Sunday, March 27.
Meanwhile, Toei Animation has shared the preview of episode 36, titled "An Unexpectedly Tricky Opponent!? Vegeta's Explosion of Rage!"
The preview video shows Vegeta transforming into a Super Saiyan and Magetta getting difficult to handle. We see other fighters saying that perhaps Magetta has some kind of trick that he has not yet deployed. But everyone is surprised to see Vegeta using a special attack as a result of his anger burst, which could apparently kill Magetta.
We will have to wait until March 27 to see what effect Vegeta's rage could have on Magetta.
