It is a double treat for actor Suriya's fans.
There were a lot of speculations about the Tamil star's next project. Suriya is currently busy with his upcoming flick "Singam 2," a sequel to the blockbuster movie "Singam."
Two of the most sought after directors - Lingusamy and Gautam Menon - had earlier said that they have their scripts written for Suriya. There was a lot of buzz as to whose project the actor would choose to work after the completion of "Singam 2" with Anushka shetty and Hansika Motwani.
Earlier, sources told The Times of India that Suriya has given his go-ahead to director-producer Lingusamy's movie, which was slated to go on floors in May.
Latest reports have emerged that the actor will work in both Gautam Menon and Lingusamy's films. The actor has confirmed in a statement that he will star in both the projects simultaneously. While Gautam's film titled "Dhruva Natchathiram" will go on floors in June, Lingusamy's flick will commence in August this year.
"As the Suriya-starrer 'Singam 2' is close to completion, the shooting of Suriya's next movie with Gautam and Lingusamy are planned to be executed in parallel," said a statement, according to Indo-Asian News Service.
"Gautham's project will start in June this year, while Lingusamy's film will commence from August."
Suriya-Lingusamy's movie will be produced under the banner Tirrupathi Brothers, while the Suriya-Gautham flick will be produced by Photon Kathas.
This will be Suriya's first film with with Lingusamy and his third with Gautam. His previous movies with the director - "Kaakha Kaakha" and "Vaaranam Aayiram" are smashing hits. The rest of the films' cast and crew will be announced soon.
