Speculations are rife about the possibility of a new Pokemon game this year from Nintendo as it is more like a tradition now to have one Pokemon game annually in continuation of the Pokemon series.
Though many speculate on the possibility of not having such a game, but Attack of the Fanboy points out to the fact that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire was revealed without anyone's knowledge, though it was rumoured. Also this was revealed on a random day and did not go via Nintendo Direct either.
Though Nintendo is not that forthcoming on its Wii U games, we know that it has games like The Legend of Zelda Wii U, Yoshi's Woolly World, Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame and possibly also Star Fox in the pipeline for the year.
But the question is what will it showcase at E3 2015 since it has not announced anything for Nintendo 3DS apart from a new Animal Crossing game. The report speculates that this is a good time for Nintendo to debut a new Pokemon game.

It goes on to predict the possibility of Nintendo coming up with a follow-up game for Pokemon X and Y like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald or Platinum; or sequels like Black 2 and White 2.
There is a possibility that Nintendo might reveal a console arena Pokemon game like Pokemon Stadium or Pokemon Coliseum. Also, there are chances that Pokken Tournament might get ported to Wii U.
It was also noted that by Fall, it is likely that a new Pokemon game is out. Perhaps there is a possibility of we seeing the release of Pokemon Amiibos similar to the ones being released for Super Smash Bros. So will the new game see Pokemon Amiibo figures?
Though there is no information on what Nintendo will reveal, it is speculated that it might release Pokemon Z that was previously rumoured, or some similar Pokemon game.
We can only wait and watch if Nintendo will reveal some new Pokemon game at the E3 2015 in June.
