Actors Allu Arjun and Chiranjeevi are rumoured to play Puneeth Rajkumar and Ambareesh's roles, respectively, in the Telugu remake of much-awaited Kannada movie "Doddmane Hudga."
"Doddmane Hudga" is yet to be released in cinema halls, but the buzz in the film nagar is that the producers of the Kannada movie are keen on remaking the movie in Telugu. It is reported that the makers think that stylish star Allu Arjun and megastar Chiranjeevi are perfect match for the roles played by Puneeth Rajkumar and Ambareesh. They are reportedly set to approach these Sandalwood stars for the remake.
Usually, the reports about the remake of any film emerge on net only after it is released in theatres and gets good response from the audience. Interestingly, "Doddmane Hudga," which is scheduled to hit the screens on 30 September, is proving an exception to this trend. It shows how much its makers are confident about the content.
"Doddmane Hudga" is an intense family drama, which is written and directed by Suri and produced by M Govindu under the banner of Ajay Pictures. The promos of the film have created lot of curiosity about its story, but the makers have kept the details of its plot and characterisation under wraps. Fans of Raj family are eagerly waiting for the release of the film, which has been in production for over one year.
Puneeth Rajkumar and Radhika Pandit are playing the lead roles in "Doddmane Hudga," which features an ensemble cast of Ambarish, Sumalatha, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Srinivasa Murthy, P. Ravi Shankar, Rangayana Raghu, Chikkanna and Avinash. Shiva Rajkumar has provided a voice-over for the film, which has V Harikrishna's music, Satya Hegde's camera work and Shashidhar Adapa's art direction.
