Malayalam actor Jayasurya has become the latest victim to have a fake profile page on social media. The actor has alerted his followers about a fake page in his name on the popular photo-sharing website, Instagram.
Jayasurya has shared the screenshots of the original and fake Instagram accounts on his Facebook page. "Some one is handling a fake profile in my name. Here is the original and fake ones [translated from Malayalam]," the star writes on his social media page.
The impostor has managed to cheat a large number of netizens. The fake page of the Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam actor has more followers than the original account. While the former, carrying the username Jayasurya Jayan, is being followed by over 1.19 lakh Instagram users, the real profile, with the name Jayasurya555, had just 9,558 followers, at the time of writing this report.

Meanwhile, things seem to be going in the right direction for the actor on the work front. Jayasurya, who bagged the special jury mention at the National Film Awards, was last seen in the Malayalam horror comedy entertainer, Pretham. The Ranjith Sankar-directorial venture became the biggest solo blockbuster of the actor.
The versatile star will be next seen in director Siddique's comedy entertainer, Fukri, which stars Prayaga Martin and Anu Sithara in the female lead roles. Jayasurya also has the sequel of the comedy movie, Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviyaanu, in his kitty for the next year.
