Since 2007, there have been 542 incidents of shark attacks, resulted in 460 injuries. However, director of Florida Program for Shark Research George Burgess thinks tourists should not feel threatened or discouraged about going into the sea. On the other hand, Burgess thinks that humans are the real attackers in the relationship.
