Since the times of our childhood we have been hearing that our country is a developing nation. Ever wondered when will India become developed? Looks like it is a mission impossible until and unless each citizen decides to change his or her uncivilised behaviour. We always complain about the poor facilities provided by the Indian government unlike many other foreign countries, but do we even deserve better amenities?
The answer is definitely NO.
Why? Even a day before its maiden trip, the newly launched Tejas Express, wrapped up in bright yellow colour, was vandalised and its window glasses were broken. The luxurious train service that covers 630 kilometres in nine hours, was flagged off from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai on Monday, May 22, and returned from Goa on Tuesday. But it came back with damaged and tattered coaches as passengers stole at least a dozen headphones, damaged the infotainment screens and littered everywhere making every Indian bow their head in shame.

It's a shame. Headphones stolen, LED damaged in Mumbai Goa Tejas express. Do we really deserve such services from @RailMinIndia then ? pic.twitter.com/nLAQhInfwd

The 20-coach Tejas Express, which can run at the speed of 200 kmph, has many features to boost off, including the automatic doors, tea/coffee vending machines, vacuum bio-toilets, 9-inch infotainment screens for each seat, touch-free water taps, among many others. But everything was destroyed in a single day!!

Now, who should be blamed? The Indian Railways, which provided these facilities or the citizens who are too unwilling to accept anything better? Aren't we forcing the authorities to give us the low quality services by setting examples like this? Comment your opinion below.
