In "Diya Aur Baati Hum", the mystery surrounding the murder of Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) brother-in-law Mohit, has been keeping its viewers hooked to the show.

After Lokesh confessed that he killed Mohit, Emily appeared in front of Sandhya claiming to be the murderer.

While Sandya was seen perplexed with both Lokesh and Emily's confessions, Suraj (Anas Rashid) came forward and revealed that he had killed his brother Mohit. With all evidences against Suraj, Sandhya was left in disbelief that her husband is the murderer.

While viewers must be wondering if the male protagonist has killed Mohit or not, the upcoming episodes will have some high voltage drama as the real culprit will be revealed.

According to reports, it is Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) who killed her own son. Bhabho caught Mohit red-handed when the latter attempted to rape Lalima. With no choice left, Bhabho ended up killing her son in order to save the lady.

"With Suraj (Anas Rashid) admitting that he had killed Mohit and all the evidences against him getting proved, he will be soon sentenced to death. Just when he will be about to getting hanged, Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela) would come and try to stop her innocent son from getting punished. Further, it will be revealed that the actual person responsible for killing Mohit, was no one else, but Bhabo herself!" a source told India-Forums.

"Bhabo would have caught Mohit attempting to rape Lalima and eventually being left with no other choice but to kill her own son Mohit, in order to save Lalimaa from him, she would have ended up taking this extreme step. While on the other side, Suraj, being aware about this event, will take up all the blame on himself to save his mother," the source added.
