A new cast member will enter Star Plus' "Diya Aur Baati Hum" show soon. Television actor Sarwar Ahuja will join the cast of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" as a police inspector.
However, Sarwar will be seen doing just a cameo appearance in "Diya Aur Baati Hum". The actor says that his role will be crucial as he will be seen solving a murder mystery. Sooraj's (Anas Rashid) brother Mohit's death is the main track of the show.
Sarwar, who acted in Punjabi film "Patiala Dreamz", said that he is excited about his role, which is very 'important' in the ongoing track.
"I am entering the show at an extremely crucial point. The track has a lot of mystery attached to it and I am really looking forward to connecting the dotted lines bit by bit. My character is that of a police inspector named Satyadev, who will be appointed along with a female protagonist Sandhya (Deepika Singh) to solve Mohit's murder case," Sarwar said in a statement.
Sarwar, who has already started shooting for the show, will be introduced in an episode, which will be aired on Thursday.
"Though a cameo, I am really excited for this show. I'm really looking forward to it," he said, according to IANS.
