TV actor Anas Rashid, who rose to popularity with his role of Suraj Rathi in Star Plus' "Diya Aur Baati Hum", has no plans to get married anytime soon.
In a recent interview, the 35-year-old actor said that his hectic shooting schedule doesn't allow him to think about marriage and he will plan it only when he gets some time off from the show.
"I am shooting for 30 days a month. My character needs to be there all the time. There are days when I have to cancel my one-day off and come on set to shoot. So taking 15-20 days off to get married is impossible," Anas said in a statement, according to IANS.
"Getting married isn't easy. As for me, I would want to personally go back home and invite all my relatives, sit back and enjoy the entire festivities with them. It's a long tedious process which I cannot commit to right now," he added.
Talking about the girl he will get married to, Anas said he will tie the knot with his parents' approval.
Last year, there were rumours that Anas was dating Rati Pandey of "Hitler Didi" fame. However, both the actors refuted to the rumours claiming that they are just good friends. The dating reports surfaced when the actress used to often drop by the sets of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" to meet Anas.
Meanwhile on the show, Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and the Rathi family are keen on getting Aryan married to Aarzoo. However, what they are unaware of is the fact that Aarzoo is from Pakistan. The upcoming episodes will see the Rathi family facing a lot of trouble because of the misunderstanding.
