Fame, success and money have the potential to make people arrogant, but Divyanka Tripathi has not been affected by them.
There was a time when buying a Barbie Doll seemed like an impossible thing to her, and then she saw a phenomenal rise when she became the lead character in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein". But, the transition hasn't changed Divyanka.
According to an India-Forums report, Ruchika Rajput, who has been roped in for "YHM" to play Mrs. Jhakar, has praises her co-star's humility.
"I cannot believe how such a popular star of a leading channel can be so down to earth. I was a nobody on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein but while shooting with Divyanka, she gave me a lot of respect and treated me like an actor and not like a newcomer," Ruchika said.
Meanwhile, Divyanka, who comes across as a big supporter of Ruchika, was once shattered too. Talking to The Indian Express, the TV star said how she had no life of her own, adding she invested most of her time in her ex-boyfriend Ssharad Malhotra.
"I had no life beyond one person and I made the choice of leading that life. It was not imposed by anyone. I was very happy in the zone. But somehow...(pauses) things fell apart. I was shocked and devastated but thankfully my fracture happened," the leading daily quoted her as saying.
In other news, Ruchika began her career at 12 with "Sanjivani" and was recently seen in a few episodes of "Crime Patrol" and "Savdhaan India – India Fights Back".
