Disney fans looking forward to the live adaptation of the classic tale, "Beauty and the Beast," got a pleasant surprise when the company revealed the latest teaser of the movie on the internet. As expected, the trailer garnered an astounding number of views in a short duration.

The previous record for the most-viewed trailer in this span of time was that of "Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens" that received 88 million views in the first 24 hours. The trailers of other movies that had earlier taken the internet by storm are "Captain America: Civil War" (61 million) and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (34 million). Interestingly, all these hit trailers have been released by Disney's movies.
Directed by Bill Condon, the cast of "Beauty and the Beast" includes Emma Watson of "Harry Potter" fame as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast and Luke Evans as the antagonist, Gaston. Other cast members include Kevin Kline (Maurice), Stanle Tucci (Cadenza), Josh Gad (Le Fou), Emma Thompson (Mrs Potts), Ian McKellan (Cogsworth), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Plumette), Ewan McGregor (Lumiere) and Audra McDonald (Garderobe).
