Filmmaker Pawan Wadeyar married Apeksha Purohit on Monday, August 20, at the actress' native place - Bagalkote in Karnataka. It was a grand ceremony which was full of rituals at Gowri Shankar Kalyana Mantapa.
The wedding was performed as per Hindu customs at 9.05 am in the presence of their families, friends and well-wishers.
The couple had also held a reception last evening. But not many from film industry graced the event as the couple has planned a grand reception for celebrities in Bengaluru on August 26.
It may be recalled here that they had their engagement ceremony last December.
After working with Yogaraj Bhat, Pawan Wadeyar had made his directorial debut with Govindaya Namaha in 2012. He remade the movie in Telugu as Potugadu. He had delivered a blockbuster in the form of Googly starring Yash and Kriti Kharbhanda.
He later directed films like Jessie and Nataraja Service. Now, he is busy with Natasaarvabhowma, which stars Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead.
On the other hand, Apeksha Purohit is an actress and has worked in movies like Kaafi Thota, Kinaare and Kaanada Kadalalli.
