Latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Kamal Haasan is all set to share screen space with his mentor-cum-director K.Balachander.
It is well known that Kamal will begin working on his new film titled "Uthama Villain" after completing "Vishwaroopam 2." "Uthama Villain" is helmed by actor-director Ramesh Aravind, who is also a close friend of Kamal. The film's story is penned by Kamal himself, while the dialogues will be written by Crazy Mohan.
Details about the film's star cast are not yet known. But, buzz is that veteran director Balachander has been roped in to do a pivotal role in the film, reported Indiaglitz. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.
"Uthama Villain" story is reportedly based on ageing superstar's life. The film is expected to kick-off after Kamal completes his work on "Vishwaroopam 2." The spy-thriller, a sequel to 2013-blockbuster flick "Vishwaroopam", is one of the most-awaited films of 2014.
"Vishwaroopam 2" was expected to hit the screens last year, but it did not materialise. Apparently, the film's post-production work is delaying its release. The sequel is expected to release in April, but there is no official word on it.
Recently, Kamal provided a sneak-peek into the making of "Vishwaroopam 2" and also addressed his fans. He wished his fans a Happy New Year and also revealed that "Vishwaroopam 2" will be hitting screens soon. However, the actor did not reveal an exact release date.
Written and directed by Kamal, "Vishwaroopam 2" will have Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekar Kapur, Waheeda Rahman, Rahul and Anant Mahadevan in pivotal roles.
