IBTimes India Rating: 3.5
The day has come when fans get to witness the charisma of Bollywood's most iconic onscreen couple – Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's fresh pairing is something everyone has been looking forward to. They look absolutely at-ease and crazily confident in their press meets and interviews.
SRK and Varun's brother bonding in the little snippets put out by the makers has been loved and appreciated by the fans.
The songs, especially "Gerua", have become an instant hit and are topping several music charts.
Also, the much talked-about cars give an interesting touch to the overall look and feel. Destroying luxury cars such as Bentley, Porsche and the like only ups the scale.
Although, the makers haven't given out much in the trailer, which only hints at lovers caught in gangster rivalry, the film will surely be a bunch of thrills.
Some are predicting it to be a mindless actioner, others are of the opinion that it will be another run-of-the-mill Rohit Shetty film.
Released in some parts of the world, the reviews so far has been positive. Stay tuned for a live tweet review:
#Dilwale Overall grt laughs, some really well done action scenes barring one which is a rip off of a Hollywood blockbuster and warm romance

#Dilwale one of Rohit Shetty's better movies. Editing needed to be tighter. Unnecessary gags could have been avoided to cut down the noise

#Dilwale songs are the pluses! #Gerua #manmaemotion #janamjanam are all dream sequences and there are no random song-dance routines.

— Prarthna (@PrarthnaS) December 18, 2015
#DilwaleReview fast-paced and not one dull moment. But would have liked Raj-Mira's story to be a little slow. Interval now.
