Nadirshah is widely considered as one of Dileep's best friends and the mimicry artist-turned-director has been following the 'Meesamadhavan' star like a shadow in all his ups and downs.

When Dileep was involved in a rape case, Nadirshah took a strong stand with his best friend and as a result, he was also questioned for hours by the police. However, for Dileep, friendship and profession seem two various poles and he substantiated this attitude by opting out of from Nadirshah's movie.

Earlier, it was reported that Nadirshah is planning a new movie with Dileep titled 'Kesu Ee Veedinte Nathan'. But as per latest updates, the actor has declined this offer citing creative differences.

As per close sources to Dileep, Nadirshah had approached him to do the role of a senior citizen in this film. After hearing the entire storyline, Dileep informed Nadirshah that he had played a similar role in the movie 'Kammarasambavam' and made it clear that he does not want to repeat a similar character.

Dileep is currently busy with the shooting of his new movie which is being directed by B Unnikrishnan. Touted to be a family thriller, this film will feature Dileep in the role of a lawyer with a speech impediment.

This movie marks B Unnikrishnan's first movie with Dileep. Until now, B Unnikrishnan has mostly made movies with veteran superstars like Mammootty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi. Unnikrishnan's previous release was 'Villain' which featured Mohanlal in the lead role. Even though the film was a critical success, it failed to emerge as a superhit at the box-office.

Dileep, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his upcoming flick 'Professor Dinkan'. The film directed by ace cinematographer Ramachandra Babu is expected to be a fantasy flick and will hit the theaters on December 7.
