The release of Dileep's upcoming Malayalam movie "King Liar," which was scheduled to hit theatres March 27, has been postponed. The comedy entertainer will be releasing in the month of April.
Sources close to the movie have confirmed to International Business Times India that the movie will hit the screens April 2. Since the release date has been postponed, the Dulquer Salmaan and Sai Pallavi's starrer "Kali" will enjoy a solo release at the Kerala box office during the festive season. The Sameer Thahir directorial will be released March 26, a day before Easter.
"King Liar" is one of the much awaited projects of the year as it marks the comeback of successful director duo Siddique and Lal after 22 years. The duo, who has delivered many superhit movies in Malayalam, including "Ramji Rao Speaking," "In Harihar Nagar," "God Father," "Vietnam Colony" and "Kabooliwala" split for unknown reasons in 1993.
"King Liar" is the second Malayalam project of Madonna, who rose to fame for her role as Celine in Alphonse Puthren directorial "Premam" opposite Nivin Pauly. "King Liar" also has Lal, Asha Sarath and Soubin Shahir in significant roles. While Alex Paul has composed the music of the flick, the background score has been handled by Deepak Dev. The movie is being produced by Ouseppachan Valakkuzhy under the banner of Valakuzhi Films.
